310S stainless steel, also known as UNS S31008 and W.Nr. 1.4845, is an austenitic heat-resistant alloy with excellent high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance. Its low carbon content improves weldability and reduces the risk of sensitization during welding and high-heat exposure.
310S is commonly used in furnace components, heat exchangers, kilns, and petrochemical equipment. Its superior performance in high-temperature, oxidizing, and mildly corrosive environments makes it ideal for thermal processing, power generation, and chemical industries.
