316Ti stainless steel, also known as UNS S31635 and W.Nr. 1.4571, is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel offering excellent corrosion resistance and improved high-temperature strength. The addition of titanium helps prevent intergranular corrosion after welding and prolongs material life in high-heat environments.

316Ti is commonly used in heat exchangers, chemical processing equipment, pressure vessels, and marine applications. Its resistance to acids, chlorides, and high-temperature oxidation makes it suitable for aggressive and corrosive service conditions, especially where welding is involved.
