Incoloy 25-6Mo/Alloy 926/N08926/W.Nr. 1.4529

Incoloy 25-6Mo, also known as Alloy 926, with designations UNS N08926 and W.Nr. 1.4529, is a super-austenitic stainless steel alloy featuring high nickel, chromium, and molybdenum content. The alloy is designed to provide excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing environments. With controlled nitrogen addition, it offers enhanced mechanical strength and corrosion resistance compared to conventional stainless steels such as 904L.

Incoloy 25-6Mo is widely applied in industries such as chemical processing, seawater desalination, flue gas desulfurization, and oil & gas. Common forms include plates, sheets, pipes, tubes, bars, and flanges, making it suitable for heat exchangers, evaporators, marine equipment, and chemical storage tanks. Its superior corrosion resistance and strength allow for long service life in aggressive environments where standard stainless steels cannot perform reliably.
