Incoloy 925 (Alloy 925), designated as UNS N09925 and W.Nr. 2.4375, is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with added molybdenum, copper, and titanium. It provides excellent resistance to sulfide stress cracking, pitting, and general corrosion in harsh environments, especially those found in sour gas and offshore oil fields.
Alloy 925 is commonly used in oil & gas components such as downhole tools, valves, hangers, and tubing. Its combination of corrosion resistance and high strength makes it ideal for aggressive environments containing hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), chloride ions, and CO₂.
