25-6MO, also known as Alloy 926, UNS N08926, S31266, and W.Nr. 1.4529, is a super austenitic stainless steel designed for superior corrosion resistance in aggressive environments. With approximately 25% nickel, 6% molybdenum, and added nitrogen, it offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking.
25-6MO is widely used in seawater systems, desalination plants, offshore platforms, chemical process equipment, and heat exchangers. It provides an upgrade over 904L and even 254SMO in many cases, making it an ideal choice where high corrosion resistance and long-term durability are critical.
