Rene 41 (also known as Alloy 41, UNS N07041, W.Nr. 2.4973) is a nickel-chromium-based superalloy strengthened by additions of molybdenum, cobalt, and titanium. It is specifically engineered for exceptional high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and creep resistance. Rene 41 maintains its mechanical integrity up to about 980°C (1800°F), making it ideal for demanding aerospace and industrial gas turbine applications.
This alloy is widely used in jet engine components, turbine blades, fasteners, rings, and high-performance exhaust systems. Its outstanding combination of thermal stability, fatigue resistance, and corrosion resistance ensures long service life in severe environments. Rene 41 is available in bars, sheets, forgings, wires, and precision machined parts for aerospace, energy, and high-temperature engineering industries.
