DescriptionHastelloy C-22 wire is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy known for its outstanding corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments. It offers superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking in aggressive chemical media, including strong acids and chlorides.
The alloy maintains excellent mechanical strength and stability across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for chemical processing, pollution-control systems, marine environments, and high-performance heat exchangers. Hastelloy C-22 wire also provides good formability and weldability for precision wire applications.
