DescriptionHastelloy C-276 wire is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy designed for exceptional corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments. It provides excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking, even in highly aggressive chemical media such as hot acids, chlorides, and seawater.
The alloy maintains good mechanical strength and thermal stability across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for chemical processing, pollution-control equipment, marine applications, and heat exchangers. Hastelloy C-276 wire also offers good formability and weldability, allowing for precision wire applications in demanding industrial conditions.
