Description

Inconel 600 wire is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy known for its exceptional high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and versatility in corrosive environments. It performs reliably across a broad temperature range— from cryogenic levels up to about 1090°C (2000°F)—while maintaining excellent mechanical stability and toughness.

The alloy offers outstanding resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking, carburization, and oxidation, making it suitable for chemical processing, heat-treatment equipment, aerospace components, electrical heating elements, and nuclear engineering applications. Inconel 600 wire also provides good formability and weldability, allowing it to be used in precision parts and complex wire configurations.
