Description

Inconel 601 wire is a nickel-chromium alloy specifically engineered for excellent high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and thermal stability. It performs reliably in continuous service up to approximately 1150°C (2100°F), making it ideal for severe heat-exposure environments.

The alloy offers outstanding resistance to scaling, carburization, and oxidation in both oxidizing and mildly reducing atmospheres. Inconel 601 wire is widely used in industrial furnaces, heat-treating equipment, petrochemical processing, aerospace components, and electrical heating elements. Its good weldability, formability, and mechanical toughness allow it to be manufactured into precision wire products used in demanding high-temperature applications.
