We’re here to help:Easy ways to get the answers you needInconel 718 Wire
DescriptionInconel 718 wire is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy designed for exceptionally high strength, corrosion resistance, and excellent performance at elevated temperatures. Strengthened by niobium, molybdenum, titanium, and aluminum, it maintains outstanding tensile, fatigue, and creep-rupture properties up to around 700°C (1290°F).
Thanks to its balanced combination of strength and corrosion resistance, Inconel 718 wire is widely used in aerospace engines, gas turbines, nuclear power, oil & gas equipment, and high-temperature fastening systems. It also offers good weldability and formability compared with many other nickel-based superalloys, making it suitable for precision springs, fasteners, lock wire, and high-temperature structural components.
We supply Inconel 718 wire in a wide range of diameters and tempers, available in coil, spool, and cut-to-length forms according to customer requirements.
