Monel K-500 Tube

Monel K-500 tube is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-copper alloy that combines the excellent corrosion resistance of Monel 400 with higher strength and hardness. The alloy achieves its enhanced mechanical properties through the addition of aluminum and titanium, followed by age-hardening treatment. It maintains superior resistance to seawater, chemical environments, and a wide range of acids and alkalis.

Monel K-500 retains its toughness and ductility even at sub-zero temperatures, while offering exceptional resistance to stress-corrosion cracking and erosion in both marine and chemical processing environments. Typical applications include pump shafts, heat exchanger tubing, valve stems, marine fasteners, and offshore equipment.
