Super Invar 32-5 Bar
Description

Super Invar 32-5 bar is a nickel-iron-cobalt alloy designed to offer an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) over a wide temperature range. It provides excellent dimensional stability, making it ideal for precision instruments and components that require minimal size change with temperature variations.

Compared with standard Invar (FeNi36), Super Invar 32-5 contains about 32% nickel and 5% cobalt, which further reduces its thermal expansion and enhances mechanical strength. The alloy also maintains good ductility, toughness, and machinability, ensuring reliable performance in demanding applications such as optical systems, aerospace components, measuring devices, and cryogenic engineering.

We supply Super Invar 32-5 bars in a variety of diameters and tolerances, available in hot-rolled, cold-drawn, or precision-ground conditions to meet exact project specifications.
