Super Invar 32-5 Plate
Description

Super Invar 32-5 plate is a nickel-iron-cobalt alloy engineered to provide an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) over a wide temperature range. It offers exceptional dimensional stability, making it ideal for precision applications where minimal size change with temperature is critical.

Compared with standard Invar (FeNi36), Super Invar 32-5 contains about 32% nickel and 5% cobalt, which further reduces thermal expansion while enhancing mechanical strength. The alloy also maintains good toughness, machinability, and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for aerospace components, precision instruments, optical systems, and cryogenic engineering.
