2507 Duplex Stainless Steel Bar

2507 duplex stainless steel bar (UNS S32750 / EN 1.4410) is a super duplex grade combining excellent mechanical strength with outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking. It contains approximately 25% chromium, 7% nickel, and 4% molybdenum, providing a perfect balance between the austenitic and ferritic microstructures.

The high chromium and molybdenum content make 2507 particularly suitable for harsh chloride environments such as seawater, chemical processing plants, and offshore oil and gas platforms. Compared with standard duplex grades like 2205, 2507 offers significantly higher tensile strength and corrosion resistance, ensuring superior performance under demanding conditions.
